Jade Wilson is smart, young, black and ambitious. And she's just been given the opportunity of a lifetime - a try-out for the Commonwealth Games swimming team. Millie Murray
was born in London in 1958. A qualified nurse, she has attended drama college, worked with several black theatre workshops and been a vocalist in a gospel choir. She created the radio sitcom The Airport; has written for the television series, The Real McCoy; and facilitates writing and performance workshops throughout the country. She is presently a Writing Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund at the University of East London.
